How Bad have you got it? One can not appreciate the scale of NASCAR until you walk through a portal for a live NASCAR race. Television does not do justice to the enormity of the sport, you must experience one race live to understand the noise, the speed, the smells, the excitement and the full scale marketing bravado. Anywhere from 100,000 to 300,000 fans attend NASCAR races (how does that stack up against other professional sports?). While I appreciate fast 750HP colorful cars running upwards of 200MPH, I am no grease monkey. I don't perform major work on my own cars and probably never will. I have been to the following tracks since getting bit by the NASCAR bug in 2001:
