Amber Alert ID Database
– this is a
technological extension of the nationally successful Amber Alert
Program. This system involves building a secure centralized database of
children which can be accessed for timely data in the unfortunate event
that a child should become abducted. This project is a joint endeavor
between a number of Connecticut Rotary Clubs, the University of New
Haven and the Connecticut State Police. This program was launched in
November 2003 and is highly visible.
Member of
Technological Advisory Board – I was asked to join this board based on
the extensive concerns that I voiced in the area of information privacy
and data security.
Bridges Community Support
–
provides a broad range of mental health and addiction services for
adults, families, children and youth in Milford, West Haven, Orange,
Derby & Woodbridge.
