My Academic Experience

Dr. Richard “Rick” Bassett joined the Management/MIS department at SCSU this fall after spending the past 10 years at Western CT State University where he served as Associate Professor in the MIS department, Assistant Dean of the School of Business and Assistant to Provost for Technology. Prior to his time at WCSU, Dr. Bassett held a full-time faculty position at the University of New Haven from 1983 to 1989.

Dr. Bassett is an active scholar and holds the AACSB accreditation designation of being Scholarly Academic (SA) and Academically Qualified (AQ).

His research interests include; Business Process Transformation, Enterprise Computing, Information Security and Business Intelligence.
